1. Prayer Requests

• for discernment and wisdom as we compassionately engage people here in the community
• for open hearts to help, serve and join with us in partnership
• praise for continued financial support and needs being met.  We continue to be blessed.  Thank you Father. 

1. Quick Reminders

• Night of prayer this weekend, February 2nd.  Dinner starts at 6:00.  To help with the evening, please contact Steve @319-215-8628
• Check out our website when you get a chance. 
• Thanks to all who filled out the info update.  This is a big help.  I am making contact with all those who requested me to do so.  Please CLICK HERE if you haven't done so just yet.  

1. February Outreach date and needs

• 10:5 Movement
• When: Saturday February 9th at 10:30.  
• What: we will be handing out "from the heart" baskets to our friends over at the sunrise apartments.  Handshakers and huggers are welcomed. 
• The Needs: people 10-12; small baskets to house the snacks; heart healthy snacks and foods (raisins, granola bars, bananas, etc.)  Please let me know if you would like to provide any of these items.  

1. Mobile Food Pantry will take place on February 23rd.  Meeting at my house at 7.  Please let me know if you plan on serving.

Good day all, I hope this finds you well and enjoying your New Year!!  Thank you for all of your support in 2012.  We are looking forward to 2013 and all that God has for us and those we are compassionately engaging!  Below is a quick update, read on further for more information.  Hope to see you soon.

2. Night of Prayer, 6PM this Saturday Night in Grundy Center at the Farm Bureau Building
3. Adopt-a-Family Update, showing God's love in a practical way.  This was amazing.
4. 10:5 Movement Outreach this month will be on Saturday, January 19th.

1. Night of Prayer; Bring a Friend

• 6PM this Saturday Night in Grundy Center at the Farm Bureau Building.
• Dinner at  6, music at 6:30 and prayer to follow. 
• Mark your calendars for 2013 Nights of Prayer, first Saturday of every month (2/2, 3/2, 4/6, 5/4, 6/1, 7/6, 8/3, 9/7, 10/5, 11/2, 12/7)

1. Adopt-a-Family Update, showing God's love in a practical way.  This was amazing.

• An informal thank you to all who helped adopt this family of 6 living here in Grundy Center.  They were very blessed.  In this season of their lives, they are living paycheck to paycheck.  Paying bills, putting food on the table, and meeting basic needs have been a struggle.  I can tell you that they are making strides to get back on their feet.  We hope to continue to work with them and mom seemed very willing to do so.  We were able to get all of the gifts on the list, include a very generous donation to cover their rent.  Mom was in tears and could hardly believe all that was given.  Would love to introduce you to them here real soon as we work and serve with them.  Well done!
